Finally, 2007.
After having two New Year spent during army life, I can finally spend this one outside =) Didn't go for any countdown, but went out to hav dinner and then played a bit of pool with some friends b4 gg hm. but did spend the last moment of 2006 outside, and managed to catch a glimpse of firework ( really a glimpse only lol ) that most prob came from the countdown party at boon lay. Slept qt late and wake up at 12 noon today... and went to botanic garden in the aftnn. Seriously nv tot that it's so big. It's not really the flowering season, so there wasn't too much flowers to see. but the orchid garden that we went in was beautiful. There's qt a lot of different variety of orchid, different colours and even different sizes. But wat i like best abt the orchid garden is the Coolhouse. And as the name suggest, it's really cooling, becos the gigantic, big greenhse like structure imitates the high mountain areas of the tropical rainforest, which, according to the tourists signs, is qt cooling and humid. Nice place to see see walk walk especially aft walking for so long in the sun. Al in all it's a nice place, esp for outings and pinics but most prob it'll be qt crowded with all the children running ard. Saw two kids rolling down the slope today too lol.
I think the only new year resolution that I want to keep this year is to earn more money.... esp since i'm gg into uni in Aug, into a course which I have no idea if I had made the right choice... Cos seriously, I chose it cos I think it fits my interest the most. Yet I'm not really sure wat's my interest as well. I guess I juz prefer a laid-back and slack life haha... And that's precisely why i need to earn more now so that I have more to fall back on during my uni life. Oh well, current contrat ending soon and most prob will be finding a job real soon. Since i'm not sure what my next job is gg to be like, I'm trying to learn a bit more abt excel, word and stuff, hopefully it'll halp me do my work properly. And has been trying to watch the anime "One Piece" lately, but can't really find the time to start an anime watching marathon at hm cos have been gg out rather often lately. But i suppose I can take my time ad watch it cos for some reason the dl rate of the next few ep is so freaking slow that i'm starting to wonder if all the seeders live in asia and have been affected by the earthquake. But seriously, nv thought that the earthquake in taiwan will affect s'pore in this way... oh well... time to watch some anime b4 i slp.
