having ironing, starching, ironing, starching, ironing, starching my uniform and kiwi-ing, polishing kiwi-ing polishing my boots during the past few days.... getting sick of it. COC parade is tml... finally, after so may rehearsal, it's time to get it done and over with.
And seriously, why all the hassle abt this parade? Take so many manpower away from normal work juz to prep for this parade, and ironically, have to start doing OT everyday starting next week until LRI is over so that we can finish up all the work stockpiled since god knows when becos some slacker decided to take their own sweet time and slowly do their work so that they can "enjoy" the "gd time" of rushing work everyday inorder to meet the deadline next jan.
Life juz keeps getting better.
And i'm behaving more and more like those ppl that I detest so much.

De Broglie's Pilot Waves, the wave aspect of particles.
Shrodinger's wave function. His famous cat in the box, illustrating the superposition of two state: the state of the cat being dead, and the cat being alive at the same time until a measurement is made.
Heisenberg's matrix mechanics and his uncertainty principle, whereby increasing the precision of one measurement increases the imprecision of another.
Chien-shiung Wu and Irving Shaknov's artificial element, the positronium, made up of electron and it's anti-particle, the positron, which spiral towards each other to result in the destruction of matter and the creation of photon. Rather, 2 entangled photons.
The creation of the matter in the universe after the big-bang due to Quantum Fluctuation
Entanglement: Any changes made to a particle will instantaneously result in a change in it's entangled twin no matter how distant the twin is. The mystery of this information transmiision that doesn't seems to make use of any medium... possibly the key to teleportation.
Young's double slit experiment. The one that open up this new field of physics.
Hmm... quantum mechanics always seems so interesting ^_^

what motivates u to do the things u do? Rewards? pride? satisfaction?...
or simply becos doing things juz becos u have no choice but to do it?
what stops u from doing the things that u wanted to do?
Punishment? fear? pressure from others? moral? principles?...
I dunnoe wat I'm doing all this work for. Doing the best I can to make things run more smoothly.... When they are not here I tried to do more so as to cover for their work.
But wat's the point?
Dun even really know why i'm feeling so f up by wat he said. i noe he meant well... but wtf.
I hate it when ppl give me the feeling that I'm incompetent. I hate the feeling of incompetency.
Especially not when I had already did so much done so much.
I hate it. f up.

Watched harry potter with sk, fq, jun, wb, benjamin and benson yesterday at PS. By right we were planning to catch the show at Cine, but when we reached there at ard 3pm all the tix at almost been sold out till the 10pm show... thx to sk for not bking the ticket ... haha. In the end we walked to PS and managed to get the tickets for the 7pm show, but only the first two rows were available... so ended up sitting in the first row instead. Can't really get used to it at first, but since the movie was qt exciting i dun really bother abt it aft a while... Anyway, trying to organise a pri sch outing in Dec... but since i haven't speak to some of them since pri 6, and also i dun have most of their contacts, qt hard to reach them... but anyway, msg them thru friendster. hope that to get to read it.to sk, wb and serene: i already msg-ed geok lan, tingyong, rebecca, and sent a mail to weikaung, rixian, huisheng and agnes. so far got a reply from gl, huisheng and rebecca liao... as for those I didn't mention I totally lost contact with them liao >.< haha...

had a battelion family day at escape theme part yesterday morning. Some other companies were having family day as well, so downtown east was qt crowded though it wasn't sch holiday yet. Most of the prog was meant for kids, there's ppl dressed up as spiderman, supergirl etc, but was qt lame cos it's so lame... spiderman's costume dun have is logo in front, super girls also does't have the "s" logo.... '''-_-But the rides there was not so bad, though i didn't have any cos i hate getting dizzy. so ended up looking after the bags for my friends while they q up for their rides. Almost wanted to try one... but saw one guy on it puke.... -_-... haha.. forget it. Think i just stick to looking after the bags. Then went to join the guys to have a game of bball... but no one brought the ball. sian diao. Had a game with the ppl already there... got trashed, and it's damn long waiting to play the next team, so ended it and went to west mall to have dinner. can't really figure out wat to do after that.... so after some time, finally decided to go bowling again. Seems that i really sux at sports... had two games, and the 2nd one didn't even make it pass 40 >.<...come to think of it, he was rite. I can't seems to do excel in any sports... played bball with the guys for so long liao still no improvement... hav problem even throwing straight lines in bowling, and even for badminton i seems to have reached my bottleneck. still stuck at that level since sec 2. hai~~~~~ -_-....

had been qt busy in camp these few days inorder to prep the vehicles for next wk's ICT. Most ppl in the platoon have to stop their own section's work in order to help service the SM1 tank. So had been spending more time in SM1 tank this wk instead of my own M113s... the tanks is damn user unfriendly... wonder why they built it that way in the first place. then again... these veh r old enough to be my granddad....I sriousl;y think it's abt time they scrapped it -_-.anyway, worked OT today... was helping out my ex-section to check the pivot steering of the M113s.... started since 10plus in the morning after the arms drill (which was qt screwed up for me... too long didn't do drill >.<), and by 5pm I can no longer do the check properly.. cos arms juz too tired to pull the steering... as a result, I failed 3 vehicles' pivot steering... luckily my master sergeant took over and recheck the 3 vehicles.
All passed.
. . . . .
argh~~
haha '''^_^
but it was fun working so closely with them again. Even though we were rushing to finish the work, i dun feel stressed.. but I rather enjoy it ^_^. Can't help laughing when my 2nd sergeant misguided me and cause me to knock over a water pipe while reversing... Immediately the water gushed out like a water fountain... wat's more comical was seeing him getting his whole body drenched while trying to fixed the thing back.... My master sergeant even make fun of him and splashed water into his socks. luckily we managed to fix the thing back... so no need to sign 1206. =P
Watched the movie tom yum goong with my friend yesterday. The scene whereby he break his opponents' bones is a bit sickening. hearing the sounds of the bones been broken give me the creeps... esp when the bone-breaking part lasted so long =S ... but if I know he's gg to break so many I would have started counting right from the beginning. but it's still qt a gd movie.^_^
now waiting to watch harry potter and the goblet of fire...

went to bukit batok to play bball today cos js said that there's some female bball team practising down there... but the court was already in use and he didn't want to disturb their practice, and so ended up playing at the CC bball court instead. Didn't really enjoy the game... cos didn't really want to do any running. so spent most of the time walking here and there... but still, gd to have the guys as company ^_^HAi~... COC first rehearsal starts on mon.... then followed by every wed, fri, so on till the actual one comes on 1st DEC...I hate drills -_- At this rate I wonder when I'll be able to go jogging or play bball without having to wake up with an arching knee the next day... >.<

listening to Jay Chou's latest album... some of the song actually qt gd ^_^ at least better than what i expected.
Anyway, had a rather 'interesting' day today. Drove a vehicle that juz passed out of servicing today for a road test, meaning to test whether it is fit to go on road. Usually under non-combat situation it's considered unsafe to drive the veh when the engine temp goes up to 200F... cos by that time the coolant will be bubbling, pressure will built up, and the coolant pipe might burst (touchwood.. >.<) . But this one went all the way up to 24oF....
0_0.... can see some steam from the engine when I opened up the access panel....
so had to wait a few hrs for it to cool down b4 it's safe to do any checking...
then discover there wasn't any coolant to begin with in the first place... -_-
god bless... the pipe didn't burst... haha not enough coolant vapour to built up the pressure ^_^ hehe learned my lesson this time.
