Had a briefing with the new section, whcih consists most of my driver friends... though the new system will only start next tuesday. quite a different work attitude from my current section... and can already foresee that I might be having some unintended clashes with some of my friends... mainly cos our work attitude is fundamentally different. Not that I dislike him, in fact, he really look out for his friends. Juz that I might not get use to the way he works... doesn't pose a problem b4 cos we were in different section... but now that we have to work together, I'm afraid that my stubborness might get in the way... hai~... that's next wk's thing... worry abt it later...
Learn something new todae:
1) There is no sure thing as a "true" vacuum, since even vacuum contains radiation. Even at absolute zero, the vacuum would still contain some form of "blackbody radiation", from objects such as the walls of the container of the vacuum. This blackbody radiation in the vacuum conatins more energy in the absence of the walls of the containers.
2) Mass CAN be conerted into Energy.
E=mc2
By colliding an electron ( particle) with a positron (it's corresponding antiparticle), the electron will be destroy, and it's mass energy will be converted into energy in the form of a photon. But to do this, the technical difficulties is enormous. Building the particle accelerator alone will be freaking ex...
3) "Field is a region of space is which a mass place in it experience a force.... blah blah blah"
Fields is merely a description of the curvature of space-time. For eg, gravity. The curvature of space time determines the path which the object will take etc etc.... still doesn't really understand yet...
The book is getting interesting... but still so much i dun understand.... 100 plus pages to go ^_^ can foresee more interesting things... hehe =)

Guess I'm really too free liao. Everyone busy with their sch work and projects, while the rest of the guys getting all the s*** in the army... had a chat with her on mon nite.. thinks she sounds streesed... with sch work, pro work etc... but as usual, nth I can do to cheer her up except listening and chatting with her. no other way to help her out.... too slack to understand her situation too. Juz like I can't do anything to help out those bothered by all the stupid stuff in the army. all the "cheer ups" and the encouragements... doesn't do much to change the situation they r in... powerless to help much... ....
anyway... the 10th planet in the solar system is call sedna.. finally bothered to check out its name... and this sat Earth will be bombard by Solar wind... so if anyone happens to be in a bad or crumpy mood, juz blame it on the Sun.... haha...
